Dan Casey

Mr. Casey has been involved in the commercial real estate business since 1981. His wide range of experience covers development, leasing, sales and management. He has provided these services for such notable South Florida properties as the Broward Financial Centre, Park Place Office and Hotel Complex for the Starnes Development Group. There he negotiated over $70 million worth of leases. For the past 11 years he has worked for Lancore Realty out of Boca Raton, Florida.

Since entering the brokerage business in 1991, Dan has been involved in numerous sales, acquisitions and lease negotiations as the statewide representative for California Federal, Savings of America and Washington Mutual. Some examples include the transactions for the Boca Corporate Plaza; the purchase of the $50 million dollar former headquarters of MBNA, and the subsequent $23 million disposition of 54 excess acres on behalf of Washington Mutual Bank in Boca Raton, Florida.

Some notable tenant representation clients include Office Depot, recently completing its 136,000 sf call-center facility in Boca Raton. Mr. Casey has also served as the southeast United States real estate representative for Gambro Healthcare, the nation’s second largest operators of kidney dialysis centers, handling site acquisitions and lease negotiation and dispositions until its recent sale to DaVita, Inc.

Dan’s family includes his wife Chelie and two daughters Sarah and Christine. His hobbies include tennis, currently serving in multiple positions for the United States Tennis Association.
