Since 1973, Peter has been continually engaged in all phases of the commercial real estate business including leasing, management, loan workout, receivership, and the sale of commercial properties.

Prior to joining Reichel Realty & Investments, Peter served as Vice President of the Investment Sales Division of the Trammell Crow Company’s South Florida office. In 1995, he joined the Trammell Crow Company and founded the Investment Sales Group eventually growing it into one of South Florida’s most recognized and respected names spearheading some of South Florida’s most prominent office, industrial and retail property sales.

Other past professional experience included the position of Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Glendale Federal Savings Bank. As such he oversaw a $300,000,000 portfolio of real estate owned (REO) and non-performing commercial loans which he was charged with the disposition of. He also served as the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) overseeing the management and sale of all the real estate owned by the FDIC, as a result of failed savings and loans, in the eastern half of the Country. In this position he was a member of the National Review Committee for the FDIC, which established national policies for the sale of real estate.

Mr. Filomena is or has been a member of numerous professional organizations including National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, International Council of Shopping Center Developers and has been a featured speaker for the Building Office and Managers Association and an adjunct faculty member of Palm Beach Community College where he taught accredited real estate courses.

He resides in Singer Island with his wife Lisa.
